20th Dive Against Debris

We removed 7 pieces of debris weighing a total of .45 kilograms from Shangri-la Marine Sanctuary off Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines.

If you follow my blog, first of all, thank you! You may have noticed that I skipped from my 17th dive against debris to my 20th.

At some point, I apparently lost track. I must’ve counted accepted surveys without counting pending surveys, or something like that. But, I have 22 surveys with 3 to blog about, so this one must be my 20th.

This dive was out to a depth of 30 meters. It seems, unfortunately, that more debris can be found along lesser-travelled dive routes and depths. Shangri-la Marine Sanctuary still tends to remain very clean overall.
