After I blogged about Static Apnea (https://scubadivingzero.wordpress.com/2017/12/12/static-apnea/), I did my daily exercise. I should have done it first!
I shattered my breath hold record of 1:45, and held my breath for 2 minutes and 15 seconds.
Ironically, I thought holding one’s breath for 2 minutes was impossible. I thought the average for everyone would be about a minute, and anything longer than a few minutes must be a magic trick.
And, I learned my lesson. Before posting this follow-up blog post, I did today’s exercise. I held my breath for 2 minutes 45 seconds, which is as far as this app goes. I think.
So, now, I will practice holding my breath for 2:45 every day. I will start moving while I’m holding my breath to add difficulty. And, I may have to start looking for another app already!
Isn’t it amazing what the human body is capable of doing sometimes?
